MySiteStatus.net Launch
I’ve officially launched my next project, MySiteStatus.net. This website is a site and server monitoring service which will allow you to be alerted when your server goes down and report on how well your server is staying up. We keep track of all outages that your server encounters so you can troubleshoot issues more efficiently.

RIP Slicehost
So after hearing about RackSpace more or less killing off Slicehost, I have decided to migrate to a new server. You may see some websites go down temporarily while I make this transition but they should be back up soon.

New CMS Live
After much testing and coding, I’ve released the new CMS to Chess-Puzzles.net site. This will allow us to add additional functionality much easier than before and require less coding on my side. We also have a new “Forums” section where users can post. Check it out!

Downtime
Starting at around 10pm on 10/29, the server became unresponsive and I was finally able to bring it to a usable state again just now. So during that time frame, the website was down obviously. I apologize for the problems but if there are any questions please contact me.

Chess-Puzzles.net Activity
It seems Chess-Puzzles.net is getting more and more activity in the coming days. Currently we are up to a daily hit rate between 20 and 200 users, and at times up to 500. I will continue to add more content and features to encourage return visits.
